Sehr geehrte Benutzende dieser Lernplattform,
wir werden zum 01.12.2022 die Unterstützung für die offizielle Moodle-App auf unserer Lernplattform deaktivieren. Ein Zugriff auf die Inhalte der Lernplattform wird danach mittels App nicht mehr möglich sein. Der Zugriff über einen Internetbrowser auch von Mobilgeräten bleibt dadurch natürlich unberührt.
Der Funktionsumfang der kostenfreien Moodle-App (Infos: https://moodle.com/solutions/moodle-app/) wird zu Gunsten von kostenpflichtigen "Pro"- und "Premium"-Abonnements immer weiter beschnitten und es kommt immer wieder zu verschiedenen Problemen, z.B. fehlende Unterstützung spezieller Kursformate und Plugins, eine fehlerhafte Darstellung, technische Probleme und Möglichkeiten zum Umgehen von Zugangsbeschränkungen. Da momentan nur ca. 15% der Zugriffe auf die Lernplattform über die App-Schnittstelle, aber 85% über einen normalen Browser erfolgen, die mobile Darstellung der Lernplattform auch mit Smartphone- und Tablet-Browsern recht gut funktioniert und wir uns nicht in der Lage sehen, notwendige Anpassungen und Support für die Nutzenden der App zu leisten, haben wir uns zu diesem Schritt entschlossen.

Dear users of this learning platform,
we will deactivate support for the official Moodle app on our learning platform on 01.12.2022. After this date, access the content of the learning platform via the mobile app will no longer be possible. The access with an internet browser, even from mobile devices, will of course remain possible.
The full functionality of the free Moodle app (more info: https://moodle.com/solutions/moodle-app/) requires a paid "pro" or "premium" subscription, and even then various problems keep occurring, e.g. missing support for special course formats and plugins, a buggy user interface, technical problems and ways to bypass special access restrictions. Currently, only around 15% of accesses to the learning platform happen via the app interface, but 85% via a normal browser. The mobile version of the learning platform works quite well, even with smartphone and tablet browsers. In addition, we are not able to provide necessary customizations and support for users of the mobile app. Therefore, we have decided to deactivate the app support.
