Zur Nutzung von großen Datenmengen auf den Computern des DGL stehen Ihnen folgende Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung.
1. Nutzen Sie einen privaten USB-Stick oder eine SD-Karte. So haben Sie die Daten immer vorrätig und sind unabhängig von den Arbeitsplätzen.
2. Nutzen Sie Sciebo die Campuscloud. Eine Anleitung zur Einrichtung finden Sie unter: https://moodle.thga.de/course/view.php?id=738. Falls auf dem Computer des DGL kein Sciebo installiert sein sollte, können Sie die Installation selber über das Softwarecenter vornehmen.
3. Alternativ können Sie bei kleinen Datenmengen Ihr Netzlaufwerk nutzen (L:). Achtung: Als StudentIn stehen Ihnen dort nur 1 GB zur Verfügung.
4. Bei großen Datenmengen können Sie Laufwerk D nutzen. Achtung: Sollten Sie diese Möglichkeit nutzen, stehen Ihnen die gespeicherten Daten nur auf dem von Ihnen genutzten Arbeitsplatzcomputer zur Verfügung. Sensible Daten sollten auf diese Weise nicht gesichert werden, da jeder Nutzer des Arbeitsplatzes auf D zugreifen kann.
Das Laufwerk D wird zum Ende des Semesters bereinigt. Bitte sichern Sie selbstständig Ihre Daten!

You have the following options for managing large amounts of data on the DGL computers.
1. Use a private USB stick or an SD card. This way you always have the data available and are independent of the workstations.
2. Use Sciebo the campus cloud. You can find instructions on how to set it up at: https://moodle.thga.de/course/view.php?id=738. If Sciebo is not installed on the DGL computer, you can install it yourself via the Software Center.
3 Alternatively, you can use your network drive for small amounts of data (L:). Please note: As a student, you only have 1 GB available there.
4. For large amounts of data, you can use drive D. Please note: If you use this option, the stored data will only be available to you on the workstation computer you are using. Sensitive data should not be backed up in this way, as any user of the workstation can access D.
The D drive will be cleaned up at the end of the semester. Please back up your data yourself!
